The neighborhood is friendly, peaceful and safe, ideal for relaxed walks through Kaštela, morning coffee by the sea or romantic dinners in Split, Trogir and nearby coastal restaurants. The nearest beach and seaside promenade are within easy walking distance, with both pebble and sandy beach options close to the apartment.
The old town centre is also nearby, with coffee bars, restaurants, a bakery, pharmacy, bank, post office, green market and fish market. Supermarkets, local shops, fast-food places and everyday services are easily accessible, so you can find almost everything you may need during your stay.
Marina Kaštela in Kaštel Gomilica is only a short drive away and offers a pleasant waterfront atmosphere, restaurants and bars. Kaštel Gomilica is also known as one of the filming locations of Game of Thrones. Several larger supermarkets and shopping options, including Super Konzum, Spar, Plodine, Lidl, Interspar and Emmezeta, are just a few minutes away by car.
For dining and evening relaxation, you can enjoy local Dalmatian food, international dishes, seafood, wine and drinks in restaurants and bars throughout Kaštela, Split and Trogir. The newly opened Nautilus restaurant & bar is also a nice option for dinner or drinks close to the sea.
Easy access from main roads and highways.
Don't worry if you don't have a car. From the apartment you can easily reach Split, Solin and Trogir by bus number 37. The bus stop is about 550 m from the apartment, and buses run approximately every 20 minutes on working days and every 30 minutes during weekends.
You can also reach Split and Split Airport by bus number 2, directly from the station only about 20 m from the apartment. The local train station to Split is around 500 m from the apartment. Taxi services are also easily available.
Mendys Sea View Apartment is located in Kaštel Sućurac, only about 12 km from the centre of Split, 10 km from Split Airport and 12 km from Trogir. This makes it a convenient base for exploring central Dalmatia without staying in the crowded city centre.
Nearby, you can visit the ancient City of Solin, only 6 km from the apartment, and the impressive Klis Fortress, about 10 km away, famous as one of the filming locations of Game of Thrones.
The apartment is also a great starting point for one-day trips to some of the most beautiful places in Croatia and the region: Krka Waterfalls, Plitvice Lakes, Biokovo Skywalk, Dalmatian islands, Šibenik, Primošten, Omiš, Mostar and Međugorje. You can also visit the island of Vis, known as one of the filming locations of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
If you are coming with bikes, you can enjoy many cycling routes and scenic coastal roads in the surrounding area.

Perfect location for Split, Trogir, beaches and day trips
Ancient Salona, located in today's town of Solin, is one of the most important archaeological sites in Croatia and one of the most interesting places to visit near Split. Once a major Roman city and the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia, Salona was an important political, religious and commercial centre.
Today, visitors can still explore the remains of its city walls, towers, forum, theatre, early Christian basilicas, cemetery complexes, baths and other ancient structures. The site is closely connected with the early history of Christianity in Dalmatia and with St. Domnius, the patron saint of Split.
